Christmas & Holiday Healthy Eating


Greetings Everyone,






Now that it is the new year -- 2008 -- many of us are reminded of the type of foods that we consumed during Christmas and the Holidays. I'm sure some of us ate a little bit too much in some areas.

Yet do not be discouraged! I am showing you some photos and then later with a recipe from my family's Christmas & Holiday meals. As always, we prepared our foods in a very healthy method (eliminating extra sodium and adding healthy substitutes) and ate in healthy portions (not oversized or big portions). Our meals were traditional such as:
  • Ham (low sodium and extra lean)

  • Scallop potatoes (substitute low fat milk and Weight Watchers cheese)

  • Green Beans

  • Stuffing (low sodium)
