Relaxing at the Pool, Staying Fit and Keeping to the 2007 Weight Loss Challenge

What's Up Everyone,

I am still following my New Black Cultural Diet Challenge and this month of May has gone pretty fast. With all the activities going on this month, it's amazing how easy it is to stay on this fitness challenge. I really do not have to think about the major areas anymore (body image, food selection, food preparation & physical fitness/exercise) because it is AUTOMATIC!

For example, my family and I had a festive event at our house and we served everyone with healthier versions of the foods that they liked. Healthy versions of pizza and snacks for the kids as well as low-sodium hot dogs and turkey burgers. The kids and adults loved them!

The next day, I got up early and went through my intense football workout! Yes, it is still high volume with much intensity from the start to the finish!! Again, I amaze myself that once I get into the workout, it goes so fast and my intensity through each drill is high! Of course, I have those moment when I'm thinking -- "why don't I just take it easy" -- yet before you know it that thought goes away and I'm back sprinting through the drill!!

Finally, later in the morning, here I am relaxing at the pool! As you can tell, I am doing my best to move my fitness regimen to a higher level and keep my body as fit as it can be at my age!

Staying With the Challenge - Beginning The 4th Month!

Well, I am still going strong with the 2007 New Black Cultural Diet Challenge! Some say this is too long of a challenge, yet I felt that it needed to be an entire 6 months because of the change of season from Winter to Spring then to Summer! So I wanted myself and of course everyone who is following the 2007 New Black Cultural Diet Challenge to maintain our focus throughout these challenging months and seasons!

Yes, that's right -- I have continued to watch and maintain my regimens in the four areas of the New Black Cultural Diet Challenge. They are:

  • Body Image

  • Food Selection

  • Food Preparation

  • Exercise & Physical Fitness

It really pays off to have these 4 areas to concentrate upon because they act as a REMINDER to stay focus in only these areas. Of course, there are other issues related to weight loss, but these four areas have heighten my areas to achieve successful healthy weight loss.

For Body Image, check out my photo and let me know what you think! Send comments at: feedback@newblackculturaldiet.com . I am doing my best to stay with the challenge!!

By the way, I have TRADEMARKED the New Black Cultural Diet Logo! It is on the website and I explain its description and meanings!
